Terms and Conditions of Booking

All bookings accepted by Ashlack Cottages are subject to these terms and conditions:

  Booking Confirmation

No contract shall exist until a 50% deposit has been received.

  Payment

Full payment, less any pre-paid deposits, must reach Ashlack Cottages, no later than 4 weeks before the client's arrival. The client who signed the booking form shall be liable for all those to whom the form applies. If full payment is not received by the due date, Ashlack Cottages shall have the right to disallow any discounts being taken or cancel the booking and cancellation charges will apply.

  Cancellation by the Client

The client is responsible for the full hire of the even if he/she does not take possession. However, should a client wish to cancel the holiday, this should be done in writing, sending it to Ashlack cottages. If the client does cancel a holiday, their deposit may be forfeit. We would therefore recommend that holiday insurance is taken out.

  Accommodation

The accommodation provided is only for the use of clients shown on the booking form.

  Children

Children of all ages are welcome at Ashlack. We can provide stair gates, highchairs and cots for your stay.

  Pets

Ashlack welcomes pets (usually at a charge of £15).

  Damages

All damages and breakages should be reported to the Property owner and their cost may be refundable on demand. All damages and breakages are the legal responsibility of the client.

  Alterations by Ashlack Cottages

It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your holiday. Should a major change become necessary, we willl inform you or your travel agent as soon as reasonably possible. If we should have to change your accommodation, we will provide you with alternative accommodation of a similar standard. Should we be unable to do so, we will offer a full refund of the cost of the accommodation.

  Important note

Compensation will not be payable if we are forced to cancel or in any way change your booking due to fire, adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control amounting to force majeure.

  Booking Information

Ashlack Cottages make every effort to ensure that the information contained within their accommodation details is accurate and, whilst accurate at the time of publication, may be subject to alteration. If there are any alterations to any accommodation, services or facilities it will inform the client as soon as reasonably possible. It should be noted that photographs printed are to give an overall impression of the accommodation that Ashlack Cottages have to offer. In some cases the furniture depicted in the brochure may have changed since the photograph was taken.

  Jurisdiction

This contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions which are governed by English law and both parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of English Courts at all times.
